William Gray Espy (born July 19, 1948) is an American actor. He appeared in the show Miami Vice as Louis McCarthy, drug smuggler and boating aficionado in the episode "The Great McCarthy".

Early Career[]

Espy was born in Dothan, Alabama. He got his acting start in the 1972 TV movie Gidget Gets Married, then made his big screen debut that same year in Kansas City Bomber. He made more guest appearances on the shows Emergency!, Mannix and The Streets of San Francisco before entering the soap opera genre, appearing for two years on The Young and The Restless as William "Snapper" Foster, then moved to Another World where he appeared as Mitchell "Mitch" Blake for seven years, ending in 1990.
