The Screaming Blue Messiahs are an English rock band, whose song "You're Gonna Change" appeared in the episode "Killshot" of the show Miami Vice.
Career[]
The Messiahs were formed in London in 1983 by Bill Carter, Chris Thompson, and Kenny Harris. They played gigs in London and put out a mini-album, Good and Gone before releasing their first regular album, Gun Shy (1985), which featured the songs "You're Gonna Change" and "Wild Blue Yonder". Their second album, Bikini Red (1987), featured the song "I Wanna Be A Flintstone", later used in the movie version of The Flintstones. Their third and final album, Totally Religious was released in 1989, but while touring with David Bowie, the group was dropped by their record label and in 1990 the Messiahs disbanded, Harris turning to songwriting and Carter/Thompson joining the English group The Killer-Bs.
