"The Dogs of War" is a song by Pink Floyd, featured on the album A Momentary Lapse of Reason in 1987 and released as a single in 1988. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Borrasca".
Notes[]
- The album is the first without longtime bassist and songwriter Roger Waters since he left Pink Floyd in 1985. The song (and its' lyrics about the US' covert aid to Afghanistan during the Soviet Union occupation) was voted the worst Pink Floyd song of all time by a fanzine in the late 1980s, citing Gilmour's attempt to mimic Waters' anti-war writings.
