Tery Ferman made her acting debut in the show Miami Vice as Diane Gordon, younger sister of Valerie Gordon (played by Pam Grier) who ran away from home and into a life of prostitution, later killed by Lyle (played by David Thornton) in the episode "Rites of Passage".
