Raymond Joseph Teller (born February 14, 1948, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American comedian, magician, and occasional actor who is part of the comedy/magic duo Penn and Teller. He appeared as lawyer Ralph Fisher in the episode "Like a Hurricane" of the series Miami Vice.
Career[]
Teller legally changed his name to just "Teller", and he is one of a very few Americans to have a passport issued in a single name. He and Penn Jillette have teamed up for many years, Teller being the silent partner to Jillette's antics. The duo were in the cable program Penn and Teller: Bullshit! from 2003 to 2010 and Penn and Teller: Fool Us from 2015-2018. Teller's other acting appearances included the movies My Chauffeur and Car 54, Where Are You?, and the TV shows Sabrina The Teenage Witch, The Drew Carey Show, Dharma and Greg, Home Improvement (with William O'Leary), Dice, and The Big Bang Theory. In the summer of 2012, Teller, along with Penn, became the consultants for their creation of their own haunted maze for the Halloween Horror Nights 22 event for Universal Orlando in which their maze is known as "Penn and Teller's Newk'd Las Vegas".
