"Tell Me" is a song by Terry Kath, recorded for the film Electra Glide in Blue in 1973 and featured on the film's soundtrack album. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Freefall".
Notes[]
- When the final episodes of Miami Vice are played in the correct order (with the "lost" episodes appearing before the series finale), "Tell Me" is technically the final song to appear on the show.
- Terry Kath's Chicago bandmates Peter Cetera, Walter Parazader and Lee Loughnane appear in the movie Electra Guide In Blue, which starred a pre-Baretta Robert Blake. Kath's song plays at the end.
- Kath's vocals can be heard on the Chicago hits "Colour My World" and "Make Me Smile". He died tragically in 1978.
- The song is played over the closing credits of the episode, one of only three times in the series a song other than the "Miami Vice Theme" plays over the credits -- the others being "What's Love Got to Do With It" in "Calderone's Return (Part II)" and "Life Is a Rat Race" in "Phil the Shill".
