"Standing on the Outside" is a song by Meat Loaf, featured on the album Blind Before I Stop in 1986. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Forgive Us Our Debts".
Notes[]
- Despite releasing four albums in the 1980s, Meat Loaf would not return to Billboard's Top 40 chart until 1993's "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)", an absence of 15 years.
- This song, and the album in general, is a lot more serious than the over-the-top, exuberant rock that Meat Loaf was famous for.
