"Some Guys Have All the Luck" is a song by Rod Stewart, featured on the album Camouflage in 1984 and released as a single in July of that year. It is a cover of the song of the same name by The Persuaders, originally released on the 1973 album Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me. A cover version of the song performed by an unidentified house band appeared in the Miami Vice episode "The Great McCarthy".
Notes[]
- The Persuaders were an early 1970s R&B group who only hit Billboard's Top 40 twice, the other hit was "Thin Line Between Love and Hate", covered by The Pretenders in 1984. "Some Guys..." was also covered by Maxi Priest in 1987.
