Roberto Penaro was the business partner of Juan Carlos Silva. He was also his competitor in a number of ventures, including cars, dogs, women, etc. He took an interest in Rosella Maestres, getting her out of the hospital after she was thrown into a glass mirror by a john claiming she bit him, then planning to kill Silva if he did anything to Rosella (per what Rosella told Silva). Later Penaro and Silva were wrapping up a drug deal when Silva threw a remote-control bomb into a boat he was using to get back to his yacht, then killed along with his crew when Silva sets the bomb off, making Penaro another victim of anyone getting close to Rosella.
