Robert Joseph Pastorelli (June 21, 1954 - March 8, 2004) was an American actor who appeared as Vespa, one of Alfredo Giulinni's goons in the episode "Down For The Count (Part II)" of the show Miami Vice.

His best known role was as Eldin Bernecky, the painter and nanny in the series Murphy Brown from 1988-1998.

Death

Pastorelli was found dead in his Hollywood Hills, California residence from an accidental heroin overdose on March 8, 2004. He was 49 years old. He has two daughters from two previous relationships; Gianna Li (with Charemon Jonovich, born 1998, Jonovich died in 1999 from an accidental shooting) and Giannina Marie (with Jalee Carder, who Pastorelli was with at time of his death).
