Peter McCabe (November 7, 1945-April 29, 1998) wrote the episodes "Contempt of Court", "Love at First Sight", "Asian Cut" (teleplay), "Miami Squeeze", and served as story editor for the Season 4 finale "Mirror Image" and the entire fifth season of the series Miami Vice.
McCabe also wrote episodes for the TV series The Equalizer (also story editor), D.E.A., Tattingers, and The Exile, and served as story editor in the series True Blue.
McCabe had also been an author, his most notable works are Apple to the Core: The Story of the Beatles Breakup and Bad News at Black Rock: The Sell-Out of CBS News.
