Peter Kwong (April 9, 1952 - May 27, 2025) was an Asian-American actor who appeared in the show Miami Vice as one of General Lao Li's grandsons, hoping to start their own drug empire in the episode "Golden Triangle (Part II)".

Early Life/Career[]

Kwong's career started in 1977 with his first TV appearance in Baa Baa Black Sheep, followed by appearances in the series Wonder Woman, Man From Atlantis (with Belinda Montgomery), Cagney & Lacey, The A-Team (with James Hong, and Keye Luke), Dynasty, Beauty and the Beast (with Ron Perlman), JAG (with David Andrews), The District (with Antonio Fargas), and numerous other shows. In the movies, Kwong appeared in Never Too Young To Die (with Vanity), Coming to America (with Randall "Tex" Cobb), Big Trouble in Little China, I'll Do Anything (with Angela Alvarado), and his final film, Love Sanchez, in 2016. He also played Dr. Haing S. Ngor in the stage production of The Survivor: A Cambodian's Odyssey.

Kwong died in his sleep on May 27, 2025 at the age of 73.
