Paul Krasny (August 8, 1935 - November 12, 2001) directed the episodes "Redemption in Blood" and "Heart of Night" of the series Miami Vice.

Career[]

Krasny began working as an editor in the 1964 western series Rawhide, then did the same on The Patty Duke Show before moving into the crime/spy genre, working as editor, film editor, post-production, and directing episodes of Mission: Impossible for its' entire series run and also on Mannix. He then moved to the director's chair in the series Hawaii Five-O, CHiPs, Switch, Quincy, M.E., Hart to Hart, Simon and Simon, Crazy Like A Fox, Crime Story, Moonlighting, and the TV movie Search and Rescue, his final directing assignment.

Krasny died of unspecified causes on November 12, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 66.
