"One of These Mornings" is a song by Moby and Patti LaBelle, recorded exclusively for the Miami Vice film in 2006. It was later released on the album Miami Vice: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack in 2006. It is a cover of the song of the same name by Moby, originally released on the 2002 album 18.

NotesEdit

  • The song has only ever been released on the soundtrack album Miami Vice: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
  • Aside from some slight remixing to the backing track, the most obvious difference between the original version of the song (found on the album 18) and the version used in the film is the use of Patti LaBelle's vocals in place of the original vocals by Dianne McCaulley.
  • The scene in which the song appears is very similar to the scene in "Calderone's Return (Part II)" where Crockett and Tubbs travel to the Caribbean by speedboat.
