- "Modigliani" did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, but did reach #19 on the Dance Chart in 1986.
- The song was featured in the 1987 Steve Martin/John Candy comedy Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, which premiered three weeks after "God's Work" aired.
- The specially cut version of "Modigliani" featured in Miami Vice was included on the 1990 CD release of the album and was titled Modigliani {Requiem Mass}.
