Michele Shay (Born April 19, 1955, Tuskegee, Alabama) is an American actress who appeared as Dr. Chaney with the Miami Drug Treatment Center in the episode "Theresa", and as South Beach Detective Montana Stone, who worked both for the corrupt South Beach SOS as well as for the homeless in the episode "Badge of Dishonor" of the series Miami Vice.
Shay was nominated for a Tony in the category of Best Actress in a Play for her performance in Seven Guitars in 1996 and has appeared in several on and off Broadway plays. She is an adjunct Professor teaching Acting at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has also worked with the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts.
