Michael Fitzgerald made his acting debut as a thug who stole a suitcase of money from Berlioz, then was shot down by Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs in the episode "The Fix" of the series Miami Vice. Micahel was a DJ for Majik 102.7 while filming Miami Vice and Revenge of the Nerds II.
His other credits include the movies Revenge of the Nerds 2 (with Ed Lauter), Cadillac Girls, and Voice Over artist for numerous national television and radio commercials. Fitzgerald then left Miami to do morning radio in Vero Beach, Florida, After 12 years on Florida's Treasure Coast he went on to work as a DJ and Program Director for West Virginia Radio Corporation, doing morning drive on 96.1 The Wolf and afternoons on WKAZ-FM 107.3 until its' format changed to K-Rock in April, 2011 (later becoming Tailgate 107.3 in 2015). Fitzgerald was also the weekend entertainment reporter for WCHS TV-8 in Charleston, WV.
Fitzgerald then relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, programming 973 the Hawk and KGGO, Sadly, his wife was diagnosed [with M.S] . and he was forced to move to a warmer climate for her health, he returned to Florida where he works as the media director for Hollywood Collectibles, working with sports athletes arranging autograph signings and appearacnes around the country.
An ironic footnote: Fitzgerald worked with Legendary Basketball Legend Bill Russell in the Miami Vice episode "The Fix" and now works with him on a weekly basis regarding sports memorabilia autograph signings.
