Miami Vice: The Movie was the first of two episodes of Miami Vice released as a stand-alone, feature-length video. The episode contains the complete pilot episode, "Brother's Keeper", with all original music intact. The VHS and LaserDisc were released in the mid-1980s and can still be found for sale on online retail sites such as Amazon or eBay.
Miami Vice: The Movie was followed by the release of the second season opener "The Prodigal Son" on its' own feature-length video, Miami Vice II: The Prodigal Son.
