Manny is the dim-witted and largely mute assistant to small-time thief and entrepreneur Izzy Moreno. Manny's job appears to primarily involve acting as Moreno's chauffeur, driving him from place to place so that he may "do business". He also occasionally acts as an assistant to Moreno in his scams, such as when the two are seen dealing in artificial sweetener or attempting to sell bullwhips to vagrants. Manny was never heard to actually speak on the show (although he was rarely seen talking in the background, out of earshot), and more often than not simply seemed to get in Izzy's way rather than offer genuine assistance in his schemes.
