Lou DeLong was an R&B legend, Trudy Joplin had one of his albums from when she was 13 years old, and he is the spokesperson for Astrolife, a forum to discuss "close encounters" with aliens. DeLong was also "involved" in a secret government operation involving extraterrestrials, but it turned out to all be a figment of Trudy's distorted imagination, as she dreamed the whole thing.
