Lothaire Bluteau (born April 14, 1957) is a Canadian actor, who made his American TV debut in the show Miami Vice as Philippe Sagot, assassin of Deputy District Attorney Robert Langley on orders from Jean Faber (played by Jean-Pierre Matte) in the episode "One Way Ticket".
Career[]
Bluteau was born in Montreal, Quebec. He worked in the theatre in Canada and received his first film credit, 1983's Rien Qu'un Jeu, and appeared in several other Canadian French language films before and after his Vice appearance. Some of his American film appearances include the TV mini-series Nostromo (with Brian Dennehy & Joaquim de Almeida), the movies I Shot Andy Warhol, Bent (with Mick Jagger), the TV shows Oz (with Rita Moreno, Luis Guzman, Terry Kinney, and Austin Pendleton), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (with Vincent D'Onofrio), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (with Richard Belzer), 24 (with Jesse Borrego), the movies Snow Buddies (with John Kapelos), the TV show The Unit, the 2015 History Channel series Vikings (most recent TV appearance), The Making of Plus One (with Amanda Plummer), and his most recent movie appearance, 2015's Gravy.
