Lisa Marie Smith (born December 5, 1968, Piscataway, New Jersey) was an actress and model known as Lisa Marie, who made her acting debut as Cinder, prostitute working with pimp Shane DuBois in the episode "Baseballs of Death" of the series Miami Vice.
Career[]
Lisa Marie started her road to acting/modeling in the ballet, studying at the New Jersey Ballet for eight years, then moving on to theater. She began modeling as the "Obsession" girl for Calvin Klein's perfume, then got into movies, appearing in Woody Allen's Alice (with Keye Luke), Ed Wood (with Vincent D'Onofrio), Mars Attacks (with Pam Grier and Annette Bening), Breast Men (with Terry O'Quinn and Matt Frewer),in Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes remake (with Helena Bonham Carter and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), The Lords of Salem, and Beauty in the Broken.
Personal Life[]
Lisa Marie began a nine-year relationship with director Tim Burton in 1992, got engaged in 1993 on Valentine's Day and stayed with him until 2001, when he abruptly ended the engagement during the filming of Planet of the Apes, Burton later became involved with Helena Bonham Carter, who was also in the movie.
