Lisa Eichhorn (born February 4, 1952) is an American actress, who appeared in the show Miami Vice as INTERPOL Inspector (and international terrorist) Danielle Hier, who is sent to find and kill Sirat Bandi (played by Xavier Coronel) in the episode "French Twist".

Career[]

Eichhorn was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. She performed in the theater before making her film debut in England's BBC Play of the Month, followed by The Europeans, Yanks (for which she was nominated for two Golden Globes), Cutter's Way (with John Heard), Wildrose (with Tom Bower), The Vanishing, King of the Hill (with Jeroen Krabbe), A Modern Affair (with Stanley Tucci), Goodbye Lover (with Don Johnson), The Talented Mr. Ripley (with Philip Baker Hall), and her most recent movie appearance, 2022's Deus.

On television, Eichhorn appeared in the TV movie Murder In Three Acts (with Fernando Allende), All My Children, The Equalizer (with Keith Szarabajka), Pride and Extreme Prejudice (with Brian Dennehy), The Practice (episode with John Kapelos), Touched By An Angel (episode with Charles Rocket), Judging Amy (with Larry Joshua), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (with Richard Belzer), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (with Vincent D'Onofrio), Jericho, and her most recent TV role, Mr. Selfridge.

Eichhorn married actor John Curless, divorcing in 1979, she then married makeup artist Ben Nye, Jr. in 1981 until their divorce in 1986, they have one daughter, Emily (born 1981). Eichhorn has been married to British Solicitor Richard Moxon since 2005.
