Kimberley Bret Griest (born May 12, 1958) is an American actress, who made her TV debut in the show Miami Vice as Brenda, a high-class architect and love interest of Crockett in the episode "Nobody Lives Forever". In real life, Kim is very feminine, saying "If a character they want me to play wears a good deal of lipstick, eyeshadow and a dress, then they can count me in."

Griest was born in Stamford, Connecticut. She was trained for the stage, but went to Europe for a short time to become a professional model. She returned to the United States and began her stage career in off-Broadway productions and in the New York Shakespearean Festival. Griest made her film debut in the 1984 cult horror film C.H.U.D. (with John Heard & J.C. Quinn), then appeared in Brazil, and following her Vice appearance, was cast by Michael Mann in Manhunter (with Garcelle Beauvais, Bill Cwikowski, Chris Elliott, Dennis Farina, Michele Shay, Bill Smitrovich, Jim Zubiena and Michael Talbott).

Some of her other appearances include:

  • Throw Momma From The Train (1987, with Olivia Brown)
  • Wiseguy (4 TV episodes, 1989)
  • Why Me? (1990, with Tony Plana)
  • Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1992)
  • Chicago Hope (7 TV episodes, 1995)
  • Homeward Bound II: Lost In San Francisco (1996, with Jon Polito)
