The Kane Gang was an English pop/soul group whose song "Gun Law" appeared in the episode "Cuba Libre" of the series Miami Vice.
Career[]
Kane Gang was founded in 1982 by Martin Brammer, Paul Woods, and Dave Brewis. They released two albums, Lowdown (featuring "Gun Law") in 1985 and Miracle (featuring their only Billboard Top 40 single, "Motortown", and a #1 dance song, "Don't Look Any Further") in 1987. They had two UK Top 40 singles as well. In 1991 the group disbanded, with Woods and Brewis leaving for solo careers, and Brammer writing songs for several artists, including Tina Turner and Sheena Easton.
