Julia Cameron (born March 4, 1948) is an American author, journalist, and screenwriter who wrote the Miami Vice episode "Junk Love".

Career[]

Cameron was born in Libertyville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She got into journalism after college, working for The Washington Post before moving to Rolling Stone, where she met her then-husband, director Martin Scorsese. They divorced two years later, and have one daughter, Domenica Cameron-Scorsese. After their divorce, she wrote the movie God's Will which was based on her marriage and divorce. She also wrote a number of non-fiction books, including The Artist's Way series of books, the most recent was in 2013.
