John Murphy (born March 4, 1965) is an English musician who composed background music for the Miami Vice film, along with Klaus Badelt and King Britt.
Career[]
Murphy has composed music for over 20 films. He started his career in the early 90s, mainly working on British productions, including the first two films by celebrated British director Guy Ritchie, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch (featuring Dennis Farina and Benicio del Toro), and the critically acclaimed horror 28 Days Later. He later moved to Hollywood, and has worked on films such as Basic Instinct 2, Miami Vice, 28 Weeks Later and Kick-Ass.
