Leekley got his start in 1982, writing and producing the TV miniseries The Blue And The Gray. He also wrote and produced the TV movies Knight Rider 2010 (with Richard Joseph Paul and Brion James), Private Eye (produced only, with Jay O. Sanders), Spawn, and Mafia Doctor, his last credited writing and producing appearance.
