John Corker (born December 29, 1958) is a retired NFL and USFL linebacker who made his acting debut as Samson, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood gang in Bolton Prison in the episode "Walk-Alone" of the series Miami Vice.
Football Career[]
Corker played college football at Oklahoma State University, making second team Big 8 and All-American. He was drafted in the 5th round by the Houston Oilers, playing with them for two seasons, then moved to the fledgling USFL in 1983, playing first for the Michigan Panthers (leading to the first USFL Championship in 1983) and later the Memphis Showboats before the league folded in 1986. He played for the Green Bay Packers briefly in 1988 before retiring, he later had a brief appearance for the Arena League's Miami Hooters in 1994.
