Jerry Hardin (born November 20, 1929) is an American actor, who appeared in the show Miami Vice as CIA Agent Hardin, partner of Agent Carter (played by Tom Bower), both of whom were killed by the KGB and Surf (played by David Rasche) in the episode "Bushido".
Career/Selected Filmography[]
Hardin was born in Dallas, Texas. After attending the Fulbright scholarship to the Royal Academy for Dramatic Art in London, he had a stage career, then moved into films, making his movie debut in 1958's Thunder Road, and his TV debut in an episode of the 1964 series Brenner.

Hardin married his wife Diane, herself an actress and acting teacher who had among her students Leonardo DiCaprio, Hilary Swank and River Phoenix. They have two children, daughter Melora (born 1967, known for her role as Jan Levinson in The Office) and son Shawn (born 1962).
