Jeroen Aart Krabbe (born December 5, 1944, Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Dutch actor who made his American TV debut as Klaus Herzog, an East German intelligence agent chasing Orrestes Pedrosa, who murdered his love Elena Obregon in the episode "Heroes of the Revolution" of the series Miami Vice.

Career[]

Krabbe began his career in Dutch films and TV shows, working on them from 1963 until the 1980s, when he made his first American film appearance in the 1986 movie Jumpin' Jack Flash (with Vyto Ruginis), some of his other movie appearances include The Living Daylights (with Walter Gotell), The Prince of Tides (with Brad Sullivan), The Fugitive, King of the Hill (with Lisa Eichhorn), Death in Grenada (with Tony Plana, Edward James Olmos, Esai Morales, and Miguel Ferrer), Dangerous Beauty (with Oliver Platt), Ocean's Twelve (with Julia Roberts), Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (with Charles Keating), and his most recent American film, Albert Schweitzer.

His TV appearances after Vice include the TV movies Family of Spies (with Graham Beckel), Robin Hood, Stalin, and his most recent American TV appearance, in the 1999 TV movie Jesus.

Personal Life[]

Krabbe's brother is novelist Tim Krabbe. Krabbe married his wife Herma in 1964 and has three sons; Martijn (born 1968), Jasper (born 1970), and Jacob (born 1983).
