Jan Pringle Eliasberg (Born January 6, 1954, New York City, New York) is an American film, theatre, and television director and author who directed the episodes "Forgive Us Our Debts", "Contempt of Court", and "God's Work" of the series Miami Vice.
Eliasburg graduated from Wesleyan University and then earned a Master's from the Yale School of Drama. In 1973 while at Wesleyan she co-founded the Second Stage a student group focused on producing theater and other performances (one of its' future members was Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton). She began her directorial career in 1986 on an episode of Cagney & Lacey, then Michael Mann selected her to direct three episodes of Miami Vice and one episode of Crime Story. She then went on to direct episodes of L.A. Law, 21 Jump Street, Wiseguy, Party of Five, Ghost Whisperer. Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, Bull, and Gone. In 2020 Eliasberg released her first novel, Hannah's War.

Eliasberg married Neil Friedman (executive with Columbia Pictures) in 1991 until their 2008 divorce, they have one daughter, Sariel Hana Friedman.
