Frank Military made his acting debut in the show Miami Vice as Ace, one of the three wild punks (and is killed by Tubbs) in the episode "Nobody Lives Forever", and wrote two episodes: "Little Miss Dangerous" and "Buddies".

Career[]

Military branched out into writing and producing for the series' NCIS, The Unit, Jericho (featuring Esai Morales), Three Rivers, and NCIS: Los Angeles (of which he served as co-executive producer from 2010-2015 and sole executive producer since 2015). He also wrote the TV movies Buffalo Soldiers (featuring Mykelti Williamson), Deacons for Defense, and Time Bomb. His limited acting appearances include the TV shows Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (episode with Bill Smitrovich), Superboy, The X-Files, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (episode with Ed Lauter), and Windfall (with Malinda Williams). His movie acting credits include C.A.T. Squad (with Al Shannon), Dead Bang (with Don Johnson, Brad Sullivan, and Bob Balaban), Last Exit To Brooklyn (with Burt Young & Christopher Murney), and The Last Castle (with Paul Calderon).
