Francesco Daniele Quinn (March 22, 1962 - August 5, 2011) was an Italian actor who made his TV debut as Francesco Cruz, son of crime boss Jorge Cruz in the episode "God's Work" of the series Miami Vice.
Career[]
Quinn was born in Rome, Italy, the son of actor Anthony Quinn and Jolanda Addolori. He followed in his father's footsteps and began in movies with the 1986 movie Platoon, followed by roles in Priceless Beauty (with J.C. Quinn and Joaquim de Almeida), Judgement (with Karen Black and Ed Lauter), Deadly Ransom (with Brion James), Vlad (with Brad Dourif, Corruption.gov (with Michael Madsen) and his final movie appearance, as the voice of "Dino" in Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
His TV appearances include the TV movie The Old Man and the Sea (featuring his father, Anthony Quinn, and Gary Cole, Joe Santos, Paul Calderon, and Jaime Tirelli), The Young and the Restless, The Fugitive (with Mykelti Williamson), JAG, 24, CSI: Miami, NCIS, The Shield (with Michael Chiklis), and his final TV appearance, 2011's The Glades.

Quinn had ten siblings of varied ages. He married Julie McCann in 1992 whom he later divorced, he was then engaged to actress Valentina Castellani. Quinn had two children, twins Max and Michela (born 2002). Quinn died on August 5, 2011, at the age of 48 of a heart attack near his Malibu, California home.
