"Eyes of a Stranger" is a song performed by The Payola$, recorded on the album No Stranger To Danger in 1982. The song appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Badge Of Dishonor".
Notes
- The song was one of many "new wave" tunes to appear on the classic 80s movie Valley Girl.
- The Payola$ had great difficulty getting their songs played on US radio due to their group name, which reminded people of the Payola scandals of the 1950s-60s. Ironically, this had actually been their intention when naming the band, and it ended up being a disastrous move on their part.
Personnel
- Paul Hyde - vocals, guitars
- Bob Rock - acoustic/electric/synthetic guitar, vocals
- Christopher Taylor - drums
- Mick Ronson - keyboards
