"Everything Inside of Me" is a song by Tim Truman, recorded exclusively for Miami Vice in 1988. It appeared in the episode "Redemption in Blood".
Notes[]
- The song was not originally supposed to appear on the show, but was used at the last minute when the rights for a John Mellencamp track could not be secured; Truman played it for the production team when they asked him to record substitute music and they decided it was a good fit for the scene. The warm reception it received later led to Truman writing two further songs for the series.
- Like all of Tim Truman's songs used on Miami Vice, "Everything Inside of Me" has not appeared on any album or as a single, making it one of the few Miami Vice songs never to see a release in any form outside of the episode in which it was used.
- This is the only song (of three) that Tim Truman wrote for the show in which he actually provides lead vocals himself.
