"Escape From Television" is a 1987 album by Jan Hammer featuring many tracks he composed for Miami Vice. It contains a selection of score music from the first three seasons, although tracks 7, 10 and 13 are from separate projects and as such were not featured on the show.

"Escape From Television" offers fans a cheap alternative to the notoriously rare and expensive Miami Vice: The Complete Collection, although it offers just a fraction of the tracks found on the latter.

Notes

  • The track "The Trial And The Search" is actually an amalgamation of two different tracks. In fact, despite being used on multiple occasions, the two sections never appeared in the same episode.
