Desmond Maxwell was a Jamaican drug dealer who specialized in ripping-off other dealers and stealing their product.
After a reign of terror that lasted several weeks and saw Maxwell and his crew kill several people around Miami, he was killed in a shootout with Metro-Dade officers while attempting to rip-off an undercover Crockett.
Biography[]
Maxwell spent time in federal prison in Atlanta, where he served time alongside Noogie Lamont, who later described Maxwell as "a stone cold killer". Following his release, Maxwell went to work ripping off drug deals around Miami, killing prospective buyers and stealing their cash. He pulled off eleven of these rips before Crockett and Tubbs arranged a deal with Maxwell at Lamont's apartment. In the shootout that ensued, the two Vice cops, with assistance of a Metro-Dade SWAT team, killed Maxwell and the rest of his crew.
