David Russell Strathairn (born January 26, 1949) is an American actor, who made his TV debut in the show Miami Vice as Marty Lang, former partner of Vice detective Hank Weldon (played by Bruce McGill) and who helped Weldon encase drug dealer Tony Arcaro in a drywall tomb in the episode "Out Where the Buses Don't Run".
