David Anspaugh (born September 24, 1946) is an American producer and director, who directed the episodes "Golden Triangle (Part II)" and "Rites of Passage" for the series Miami Vice.
Career[]
Anspaugh was born in Decatur, Indiana. He began his career directing the short-lived 1979 series Paris (created by Steven Bochco), then followed Bochco to his next series, Hill Street Blues, where he served as director, producer, and associate producer (and won two Emmys for Best Drama Series with Anthony Yerkovich). He then directed episodes of St. Elsewhere before making his film directorial debut in the sports movie Hoosiers, then another sports movie followed, Rudy (with Charles S. Dutton), and his most recent director role, in the TV series The Bedford Diaries in 2006.
