Corky Fowler (1957-1984) was a dealer working for drug lord Esteban Calderone.
When he attempted to undercut his boss and go into business for himself, Calderone had him killed with a car bomb, unintentionally catching Detective Eddie Rivera in the blast.
Biography[]
Crockett and Eddie Rivera worked Corky in the hopes of arranging a meet with his boss Esteban Calderone, known to them only as "The Colombian", a major player in the Miami drug trade. However, after finally arranging a deal with Corky, the Vice cops discovered that he had cut out his boss and was attempting to go into business alone with a new supplier.
The trio stopped under a highway overpass to review Corky's product; unknown to them, Calderone was aware of Corky's betrayal and had placed a bomb under the car in which Corky had stashed his product. While Crockett was distracted, the car bomb went off, killing both Corky and Eddie.
