Commander Burr (born 1947) is an agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Miami. His agents (including Henry Drummond) were involved in an operation to bring down the Revilla drug cartel, but several of them, as well as Drummond, were killed by Revilla hitmen, and due to a leak, could not commit any other agents to the operation as they would be easily found, so he proposed (and backed) sending two Metro-Dade Vice cops (Crockett and Tubbs) to New York as they are not in any DEA files to stop the Revillas. Burr continued to support Crockett and Tubbs though New York DEA (and their Commander, Rene), left them high and dry, as well as alone in their efforts.

Notes[]

  • All references to Smitrovich's character in this episode simply call him "Miami DEA Commander", although the DVD release's captioning lists his character as Burr, which is the reference for his name.
