Bob Gerchen made his acting debut as a New York taxi driver who asks Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs if he is KGB in the episode "Heroes of the Revolution", as record executive Paul Fremont in the episodes "Like a Hurricane" and "Rock and a Hard Place", and D.A. Hoffman in the episode "Miracle Man" of the series Miami Vice.
Gerchen's only other credited appearances were in the 1990 movie Stella (with Ben Stiller) and a 1990 episode of B.L. Stryker.
