"Best Adventures" is a song by Thinkman, featured on the album The Formula in 1985 and released as a single that year. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Red Tape".

Notes

  • The band name Thinkman is actually a bit of a red herring, as it was effectively just a cover for Rupert Hine to work as a solo artist after record labels failed to award him a contract. Hine even went so far as to hire actors for photoshoots of the 'band'.
  • For some reason, many sources of information regarding music in Miami Vice confuse this song with David Bowie's 1983 recording of "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)", even though the two songs are utterly different.

Performers

  • Rupert Hine - vocals, guitar, keyboards, programming
  • Lisa Dal Bello - vocals, backing vocals
  • James West-Oram - guitar
  • Stewart Copeland - drums, percussion
