Annette McAllister is the girlfriend of gun runner Walker Monroe. She has a record of twelve prostitution-related arrests, one possession, pled guilty and given a suspended sentence. She also was ruthlessly abused by Monroe, because he thought her and Holiday, a Miami gun runner, were having a fling, and also because Monroe thought Annette was prostituting. She was being held at knifepoint when Metro-Dade Detective James "Sonny" Crockett intervened, but Crockett shot the gang member Gordon "Crossbones" Cavis, and Annette and Walker concocted a story that Cavis was really Jeffrey McAllister, Annette's son (though she never had any children) to take the heat off themselves. Later, when the scheme fell apart, Annette was badly beaten by Monroe, but Annette stabbed Monroe in the leg with a knife, injuring him. Annette told the entire truth about Walker, Holiday, and "Jeffrey", and helped Crockett stop Walker.
